Solomon Water recently organized an artwork design competition for its proposed new corporate uniform.
The aim of the competition is to get a Solomon Islands’ culturally appropriate artwork design that can be branded into the new corporate shirt for Solomon Water.
Participants of this competition are mainly from high schools and a few private designers in Honiara. However, most of the design entries are high school students from Mbokona Community High School and St. Johns Community High School some of whom had previously participated in the Solomon Islands fashion Show.
Solomon Water CEO Ian Gooden presented the cash prize for the winning design entries on Friday 13 September.
The winning design cash prize of $5,000.00 was awarded to Mr. Cassey Hairiu, an APTC student currently studying in Fiji and the most commended design to Mr. Jack Dakero, a form 3 student of Mbokona CHS who walked away with a cash prize of $2,000.00
Solomon Water would like to thank all those who submitted their entries for their participation and time. We hope to hear from you again in future events and competitions.
