Solomon Water would like to inform our valued customers that the unstable weather conditions experienced currently in Honiara has caused heavy rains at our Kongulai Source and causing high turbidity (dirt particles in water) making it potentially unsafe to supply and distribute waters to our customers

We are shutting down supply as this is necessary to protect our water system, pipes and meters from damage, and to ensure water is properly chlorinated to make it safe.

Solomon Water would like to inform our customers in areas that are receiving water now that due to the heavy rainfall experienced inland at our sources, it is necessary to take precaution and boil all water for food preparation and consumption.

This precautionary boil water notice is effective until further notice.
